J. Bruce Evans papers, 1614-2005 (bulk 1930-1990).

Correspondence, business papers, sermons, talks, workshop materials, poetry, fiction, newsletters, newspaper clippings, slides, photographs, and audio tapes reflect the career of Bruce Evans as minister and counselor, the organization Fellowship Church and his involvement in the Civil Rights movement in Louisiana. Personal papers [some in French] are comprised of correspondence, legal documents, photographs, printed material, business records and genealogical data that document the ancestry of Evans and his wife, Anita Louise and provide insight into the personal lives of family members. Papers also furnish histories of Bienville and Natchitoches parishes and Saline, La., and relate to Caroline Dormon Nature Preserve and to Dormon's activities as a naturalist.
